*GVRDC Spring Event Announcement*

After careful consideration of our very wet conditions and the unlikelihood of enough significant improvement over the next five days to allow preparations, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel our Spring Horse Trials.

According to the experts, this has been the wettest month of May in our region (and much of the northeast) in 25 years. We have standing water on our courses and in our dressage rings with more rain being forecasted next week.

Please have patience and bear with us as we “navigate” (pun intended) our way through this. We are incredibly disappointed and so sad our launch for the eventing season in the Genesee Valley won’t be happening. Further details will be announced and we will be emailing competitors and volunteers with more information.
GVRDC would like to extend a huge Thank You to all the individuals and companies that donated for the 2024 USEA Area 1 Championships.  It was a great event with record breaking entrees.  Competitor comments were very positive on facilities and conditions, all of which are made possible with many hours of volunteer work and your generous donations.

We also offer cross country schooling days, two jumper derbies, and several dressage schooling shows throughout the summer and fall.

During the year, several clinics and seminars are also held to provide learning opportunities to all club members.
